The Continuity tab in the Console allows you to manage the Zerto Disaster Recovery (DR) functionality of your environment, once you have purchased the solution through us. Here, you'll find information on all your Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs), statistics about previous Failovers, and any information you may need about currently running Failover Tests and Live Failovers. This tab also provides historical performance data for your VPGs, so you can view your Actual RPOs or any other critical information over any period of time. Additionally, the Continuity tab allows you to quickly initiate a Failover Test, and provides up to date information about the progress of any tests you run. Finally, should the worst-case scenario happen, you can also initiate a full Live Failover directly from the Console, allowing you to initiate a Failover even if you've lost connection to your infrastructure, which can save you an immense amount of time and headaches in the first critical moments of a disaster in your production environment. We provide you with the tools you need to monitor and manage your replication, all in one place, accessible from anywhere.
If you have not yet purchased our Disaster Recovery Option, you will instead be shown a screen with more information about the offering, and how to purchase it if you are interested.
To navigate to the Continuity tab for your environment, simply log into the Console and from the Secure Cloud Organization level dashboard select "Continuity" from the tabs menu across the top.
You will be taken to a screen that will allow you to access all the controls an information for all of your protected environments, regardless of their physical location. For customers with Cloud to Cloud DR, you will be able to see your VPGs at both sites.
The navigation bar on the left allows you to select the Organization you want to view, and to navigate quickly between the VPGs within that Org. The Continuity section is made up of two parts:
All of these tools, together with the other features of the Console, help give you everything you need to monitor and manage your Disaster Recovery Environment from anywhere. Even if the worst happens, and you have a true DR Event, the Console allows you full control over the failover process, so you can reduce the headaches and get your environment back up and running as quickly as possible.
