To access your Object Storage Dashboard, log in to the Console at console.iland.com, click the Company Menu at the top left of the screen, and select 'Object Storage'.
While iland Secure Cloud Console access will be controlled using the User Management dashboard, Access Credentials for your object store can be created and managed directly from the Location Settings Dashboard. These credentials can be used in conjunction with third-party applications or the S3 API to interact with your object store.
Generate a Key
To generate the credentials, simply select the Actions menu and click 'Generate New Credentials'. You can specify the key length for both the Access Key and Secret Key.
This will populate both an Access and Secret Key. Please note that the Secret Key will be censored until you hover your mouse over the field, at which point you'll be able to view and copy the string.
Also note that the location-specific object store URL is listed in the upper-left corner of the modal. This URL is required when interacting with the object store via API or third-party application.
Deactivate a Key
To deactivate a set of credentials, select the actions menu for the Key you want to delete and click 'Delete'
Creating a Bucket
Click the 'Create Bucket' button, choose a unique name, and click 'Submit'
Bucket Access Control
Bucket access is controlled on the Bucket Settings page. First, select the bucket you'd like to work with, and then click Settings at the top of the screen. From here, you can manage whether the bucket is Public (anyone can list the files in your object store) or Private (only console users with access to your Object Storage Location will be able to list your files). Buckets are set to Private by default.
Deleting a Bucket
If a bucket is no longer needed, it can be deleted from the object store entirely. First, ensure that all objects have been deleted or moved out of a Bucket (see Creating and Managing Objects below). Once the bucket is empty, select the 'Delete Bucket' button on the Bucket Settings screen.
Uploading an Object
To upload files from the iland Secure Cloud Console, first select a bucket and then click 'Upload Files'.
The Upload Files wizard will appear. You can now add files either by clicking and dragging them from your desktop or by clicking 'choose a file'.
Clicking Submit will place the files into your bucket as objects. Once you've added files to your Bucket, you can access several actions by clicking the Actions menu in line with a file.
