iland's Secure Cloud Backup allows our users to back up to repositories all over the world, and we allow MSPs to provide services to as many of their customers as they need. Whether you need to have data for a single company in several locations, or data for several clients stored in one or more locations, ilands Console allows you to manage your backups in one seamless pane of glass.
Within your iland Cloud environment, there are a few specific terms you need to be familiar with in order to understand the topography and navigation within your environment. The Account, Location, and Tenant views each offer a different set of features that can be implemented at their specific levels. While there's some information that you can view at any level, some pieces are specific to that part of the structure.
Below, we will delve further into the capabilities and purpose of each level, and give a more specific overview of what can be found and configured in each level of your iland Secure Cloud Backup environment.
In the iland Cloud, your company's Account is the top level container for all of your storage resources. Select the "Backups" tab from the Company dashboard. The tab contains the summary information specific to your iland Secure Cloud Backups for account. Note that each level has corresponding permissions. As an iland Console user you must be granted an IAM role with permissions to access each level.
Your Account Dashboard contains a plethora of usage and historical information for your entire Secure Cloud Backup environment. Here, you can find a graph showing all of the space you have across all locations, and a quick overview broken down by location that shows how much used and free space you have at each of our datacenters.
From the navigation menu select "Backups" listed under the "Products" section. You will then be taken to a default datacenter location dashboard.
The second tier of the iland Secure Cloud Backup structure is the Datacenter Location.
The Location Dashboard shows similar information to the Account dashboard, but only provides usage summaries for Tenants located in the chosen datacenter.
Adding Storage: If you need to add storage for your Tenant(s), the Location level Dashboard is where you can come to request more storage. Simply Click the "Add Storage" link in the upper right-hand Corner, and a Wizard will open that will walk you through the process of purchasing more storage for the selected location.
The third tier of the iland Secure Cloud Backup structure is the Tenant level.
This tier is a little different than the others, because it's usefulness and feature set are specific to a single Tenant at a single Datacenter Location. The Tenant level dashboard allows you to view the following information at a glance:
In addition, directly from the iland cloud console, users have the ability to
